Se gradu\u00f3 de Licenciado en Letras por la State University of New York y posee una maestr\u00eda en Literatura Hispanoamericana de New York University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fue profesor de lengua espa\u00f1ola en el sistema de educaci\u00f3n p\u00fablica de New York, y ense\u00f1\u00f3 Cultura Dominicana en The City University of New York.
